How Invisalign Aligners Work

Invisalign Aligners are the modern approach for straightening your teeth. It accomplishes the SAME results as traditional braces and within the SAME time!

The first step is a consultation to determine if Invisalign treatment is the best treatment option for you. This is also an opportunity for you to discuss any questions or concerns you may have with Dr. Jacquie Smiles. Dr. Jacquie will sit with you and perform a complete evaluation of your smile, designing what would look best on you. Teeth can be straightened multiple different ways and rarely are two smiles the same. A smile is a fashion accessory that never goes out of style. Dr. Jacquie will gladly go over which smile looks and is the healthiest for you.

Once Dr. Jacquie determines that Invisalign is the right choice for you, a customized treatment plan is created. Her team of dental experts will take x-rays, photos and a digital scan of your teeth. Just think, NO impressions or molds! J

Dr. Jacquie will then use these records to create a digital 3-D image and start constructing and assembling your teeth for your ideal smile. From this creation, a digital model is fabricated to show you and display the movement of your teeth during each phase of your orthodontic treatment. Although results may vary from person to person, the average adult orthodontic treatment is about one year.

Based on your customized treatment plan, a set of aligners are made for you. These should be worn all day, and removed for brushing and flossing your teeth. You will be given several trays to be changed every two weeks and they should be worn 20-22 hours per day. Each new tray matches the movement
